These policies are subject to change and you will have the current policies when you book.
WHAT IS PROVIDED/WHAT TO BRING Unless you have purchased our full catering package, be sure to bring any serving and paper products needed to host your event. We do not provide any paper products.
ROOM POLICIES
GUEST BEHAVIOUR
--If you are booking for another individual, you agree that you are taking responsibility for their actions while on this property and agree to pay any extra service or damage fees they may incur.
--We are a non-party facility. We have strict quiet hours from 10pm-8am. Special permission is required to have loud events outside of this timeframe.
--Absolutely NO smoking on the property at anytime.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
--The kichen includes: fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, sink. Dishes, serving items, cookware is NOT included.
--Alcohol is not permitted except with permission and additional deposit. Inebriation is absolutely forbidden on this property.
--The use of the kitchen is for serving catering and warming only. The space is not meant to cook for large numbers of guests and the clean up has been atrocious for many large groups in the recent past. Do NOT plan on preparing meals here. Just serving pre-made dishes. Please adjust your menu accordingly.
--NO bacon and deep fryers. Cooking bacon or deep frying will result in a $150 fee. The smell of bacon and cooking oil permeates and is almost impossible to remove.
DECORATIONS
--NO glitter. None. Not even a speck. If we find glitter during clean up, you'll be charged a $100 headache fee.
--Do NOT post anything to the wall. Tacks, staples, command hook products, duct tape and any other potentially wall-damaging hanging items are absolutely forbidden. You may NOT remove hung art without prior permission. Blue or green painter's tape may be used carefully.
--Rental includes the room ONLY. Do not decorate or expand into the hallway or any common space.
--Furnishings may not be removed from the space. We have no space to store the sofas/tables, etc. Please plan your event flow to utilize them.
PARKING
--You as the event host may park up to 2 cars in the lot belonging to the building. All other visitor cars MUST park on the street or across the street at the Rec Center. The building contains other suites that are entitled to parking. A $25 fine will be assessed to each additional car (over the 2 included) belonging to your party.
AV/TECH
The room includes an 80" HDTV with HDMI ports. You're welcome to use it by plugging into an open HDMI port, but please do not rearrange the HDMI cords that are currently plugged in. They run through the wall and if you remove them, it's very difficult to fish them back through.
CLEAN UP POLICY
Every event is charged a cleaning fee depending on the size of group and type of event. Guests are expected to remove all trash, remove all belongings and do a basic clean up of the space. The cleaning fee includes normal cleaning and does NOT include extensive cleaning. You will be billed in addition if the room is abnormally soiled. Examples: chocolate ground into the grout, oil splattered down the walls, frosting fingerprints on every single chair. (Guess how we came up with these examples...)
